January<\/strong>
January 17<\/strong> \u2013 I designed, created, populated with content, and launched this website.
January 24<\/strong> \u2013 I co-organised, together with the Museum of the Second World War in Gda\u0144sk, the Global Game Jam \u2013 a three-day game design marathon for first-year students of the Historical Game Design programme.

February<\/strong>
February 19<\/strong> \u2013 I discussed the use of modern technologies in historical research, education, and public history with \u0141ukasz K\u0119pski as part of the \u017bu\u0142awy Historical Caf\u00e9 series.
February 19<\/strong> \u2013 I shared my reflections on what science means to me and why it is worth supporting in an article prepared by the University of Gda\u0144sk as part of Polish Science Day.
February 24<\/strong> \u2013 I co-organised the second edition of the international academic conference Games of War at the Faculty of History, University of Gda\u0144sk.

March<\/strong>
March\u2013June<\/strong> \u2013 I organised a series of classes for students of the Historical Game Design and History programmes, devoted to historical role-playing games, held at the Mefisto pub in Gdynia.
March 3 <\/strong>\u2013 I was awarded a grant under the UGrants-EDUCATIO programme, funding my participation in international academic conferences focused on games and digital media.
March 6<\/strong> \u2013 I was appointed by the Rector of the University of Gda\u0144sk, Prof. Piotr Stepnowski, to the committee awarding the Krzysztof Celestyn Mrongowiusz Prize for the 2024\u20132028 term.
March 12<\/strong> \u2013 I conducted classes for school students as part of the Open Days of the Faculty of History, University of Gda\u0144sk, entitled \u201cSurvive in a Ruined City \u2013 War Through the Eyes of a Civilian in a Digital Game.\u201d

April<\/strong> \u2013 I co-organised a series of meetings with experts specialising in modern forms of public history and the use of new technologies in history education. The invited guests included Dr Joanna Mercik (University of Silesia) and Piotr Ma\u0142ecki (the Powojnie channel).

May 25<\/strong> \u2013 I appeared on the main stage of the 4th Fahrenheit Science Picnic at the Hevelianum Science Centre with a presentation entitled \u201cClick and Turn Back Time: History in Video Games.\u201d
May 31<\/strong> \u2013 I took part in a discussion on the main stage of the Faculty of History, University of Gda\u0144sk, with Prof. Anna Paner, Prof. Iwona Sakowicz-Tebinka, and Prof. Tadeusz Stegner during the World Congress of University of Gda\u0144sk Alumni.

June 13<\/strong> \u2013 I provided substantive support for the student event \u201cAnimalia Domestica \u2013 The History of Domesticated Animals.\u201d
27 June<\/strong> \u2013 I completed my original gamification project \u201cSettlers of UGrowo,\u201d developed for students of the Historical Game Design programme.

July and August<\/strong>
August 16<\/strong> \u2013 I co-organised the second edition of the event \u201cThe Less I Know, the Better I Sleep \u2013 A Discussion on the Fatal Consequences of Ignoring Science,\u201d held at the Creative Work Centre of the Institute of Art of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Wdzydze.

September<\/strong>
September 3-5<\/strong> \u2013 I participated in the international conference History of Games at Jagiellonian University.
September 8-10<\/strong> \u2013 I took part in the international conference Central and Eastern European Game Studies at the University of Wroc\u0142aw, where I presented the paper \u201cFrom Local History to Global Play: Science-Based Video Games as Tools for Cultural Heritage and Education.\u201d
September 10-11<\/strong> \u2013 I participated in the conference \u201cHow to Shape the Future of History? Academic History Education in Times of Uncertainty,\u201d organised as part of the centenary celebrations of History studies at the Faculty of History, University of Warsaw, taking part in an expert panel on modern history education.
September 17 <\/strong>\u2013 I conducted workshops for young people as part of the \u201cZdolni z Pomorza 2.0\u201d project, focusing on how video games can serve as tools for the reconstruction and promotion of world cultural heritage.

October<\/strong>
October 1<\/strong> \u2013 I received the First Degree Rector\u2019s Award for my contribution to the development of the comprehensive curriculum concept of the Historical Game Design programme (SSL) and its successful implementation into the educational offer of the Faculty of History, University of Gda\u0144sk, in 2024.
October 3<\/strong> \u2013 I participated in the recording of two episodes of the podcast \u201c\u015awiat Okiem Nauki\u201d (The World Through the Eyes of Science), produced by Polish Radio Programme Four in cooperation with the Polish Academy of Sciences, devoted to the significance of local histories and the challenges posed by modern technologies in historical research.

November<\/strong>
November 12 <\/strong>\u2013 I delivered a lecture as part of the University of the Third Age in Gda\u0144sk entitled \u201cAn Archaeologist in the Service of Destroyed Cemeteries: Research in Nowe Monasterzysko.\u201d
November 14<\/strong> \u2013 I conducted a webinar entitled \u201cHistorical Video Games as a Digital Form of Reconstruction and Promotion of World Cultural Heritage,\u201d as part of cooperation with the Regional Digitisation Lab at the European Meeting Centre \u201c\u015awiatowid\u201d in Elbl\u0105g.
November 17 <\/strong>I published a scholarly article entitled „Kana\u0142 Kumieli i jego znaczenie dla mieszka\u0144c\u00f3w \u015bredniowiecznego Elbl\u0105ga”<\/a> in Studia Historica Gedanensia, Vol. XVI (2025).
November 27 <\/strong>I participated in the development of the official position of the Polish Academy of Sciences\u2019 Council for the Promotion of the Public Understanding of Science on the responsibility of scholars for public statements.<\/a>.

December 10<\/strong> \u2013 I completed the implementation of the \u201cMultimedia Studio at the Faculty of History\u201d project, carried out within the framework of the Academic Participatory Budget.

January 17<\/strong> \u2013 started the year with the Professor Tadeusz Dmochowski Award for \u201cexceptional commitment to student scientific initiatives and promoting science in an innovative way.\u201d

February 20<\/strong> \u2013 conducted workshops for high school students from Rumia and Cz\u0142uch\u00f3w on video games as educational tools and methods of popularizing history.
February 24<\/strong> \u2013 co-organized the international scientific conference \"Games of War\" at the Faculty of History, University of Gda\u0144sk.
February 29<\/strong> \u2013 received the \"Teacher of the Year\" Award named after Krzysztof Celestyn Mrongowiusz.

October 1<\/strong> \u2013 The new study program, Historical Game Design, which I coordinate, officially launched at the Faculty of History, University of Gda\u0144sk. The recruitment was a success, with five applicants per spot!
October 12<\/strong> \u2013 delivered two lectures at the GDArena Board Games Festival at Polsat Plus Arena in Gda\u0144sk: \"From Archaeological Video Games to Historical Game Design\" and \"Between Games and History\".

November 5, 12, and 19<\/strong> \u2013 delivered a series of archaeological and historical lectures for the Gda\u0144sk University of the Third Age.
November 7<\/strong> \u2013 My project Multimedia Studio at the Faculty of History won funding through the Academic Civic Budget initiative.
November 20<\/strong> \u2013 gave an online lecture, Historical Games in Science Popularization, at the invitation of the Center for Science Popularization at the Silesian University of Technology.
November 22<\/strong> \u2013 presented a paper titled \"From Archaeological Video Games to Historical Game Design \u2013 How We Do It at the University of Gda\u0144sk\" during the Quality Day at FarU conference at the University of Gda\u0144sk Library.
November 28<\/strong> \u2013 conducted a workshop, \"Let\u2019s Play! \u2013 A Few Words on How to Promote Research and Teach History through Games Effectively\", in a \u201cBoard Room Discussion\u201d format at the international OEB conference in Berlin.
